Value Stream Mapping Workshop

Email us for details of bespoke, on-site training for your team.

A value stream is all the actions that are carried out to bring a product from customer request to providing value to the customer.  Value stream mapping is a useful technique to provide a visual representation of the value stream and help identify sources of waste within your processes.

Through a mix of theory, problem exploration and practical exercises this course will provide attendees with a way of improving their overall project, program or organisation.  Whether the improvement is in terms of faster time to market, improving quality or reducing risk, this course provides an approach to aid with identifying where in the overall process or system these improvements can be found.

Participants in this workshop will be involved in creating and analysing a current value stream map and constructing a future value stream map based on that analysis.

Techniques to realise the future value stream map will be explored and candidates will have the opportunity to discuss how this could be applied to their environment with experienced Lean practitioners.

Who should attend?

This course is applicable for anyone within the organisation, who is interested in improving their project, program or organisation, however managers, scrum masters and product owners will particularly benefit from this.
